The community of Elko, Nevada is truly a hidden gem just waiting to be explored. Our school district offers a wide range of educational opportunities for students of all ages. One of those opportunities is virtual school for grades K through twelve. Perhaps you’re a home education veteran, or maybe this is your first venture into online learning. Our Mission
No two learners are exactly alike. George Evans once said, “Every child can learn—just not on the same day or in the same way.” It is our mission here at NNVA to treat all students as the unique individuals they are. Our strengths lead us to excel, while our weaknesses challenge us to work hard and improve more each day. Together, we aim to make the most of your child’s online learning experience.
Our Approach to Education
For students in kindergarten through fifth grade, our qualified Elko County School District teachers handle all instruction. Our approach to instruction in grades six through twelve, however, is a little different. We use the Edgenuity platform in these grades for coursework, announcements, and communication.
