All students must supply their own computer and internet connection.

Complete an Elko County School District registration if not already an ECSD student.

Complete a Northeastern Nevada Virtual Academy written agreement.

Attend an orientation session and complete the online orientation video presentation.

Login and send a message to the teacher of each course. Introduce yourself and tell them a little about yourself.

Complete your assignments each week.

Correspond with the teachers in each of your courses at least once a week.

Complete course work at a pace that will allow you to finish your courses within the allotted time period.

Parents should monitor their child’s progress at least once a week. Make sure your child is logging into their courses 5 days each week, communicating with their teachers each week, completing assignments each week, and works at a pace that will ensure they complete all their courses within the allowable time limits.

All students are required to complete 6 courses each semester.

All 12th-grade students are required to complete 4 courses each semester. An additional course will be required if graduation requirements cannot be met through the completion of 4 courses each semester.

3rd-12th-grade students are required to participate in state-mandated testing (CRT or HSPE) in Elko or at one of Elko County School District's schools.

Midterms and finals in some courses must be taken at the student’s attendance area school.

Parents should establish a quiet work area in their home where their child can complete their course work.

Parents should establish a daily schedule for their child and set goals for the completion of assignments.
